Gf’s orchid got abused :(

Just need to know the routine to get this one back to normal as quickly as possible!
Gf and I left for the summer and asked her brother and sister to take care of two things, her cat and orchid. Needless to say. Both were in stress in the environment they left it in.
Do I clip off the splitting leaves? Fertilizer?
