Gifted orchids. Not sure if they’re okay?!

Hey all. New to orchids here. Got one as a gift a week ago and hoping it’s okay. I haven’t watered it yet, it’s about two feet from a window that gets pretty bright but indirect light. The blooms are wilting and the bottom leaf is yellowing and browning at its base. Also a few little fruit fly things are hanging around it. Any thoughts?
