Not sure if that's the proper term for this, but basically what I'm asking is, if we take two headphones, and go through the process of measuring and EQing them to harman, and each have 5.5dB of bass, will both headphones measure as having the same bass on the measurement rig?
I understand that since we all have differnt heads and ear shapes, bass will of course sound more or less strong depending on factors like the type of seal we're getting etc, but I figured I'd ask, because I'm super curious about this. My 560S seems super bass lite, which is totally fine, but I was just wondering what the difference is between this and my Hifiman Ananda. The Ananda seems to have far stronger bass even when they are both set to 5.5dB on the EQ presets.
THanks!
