Hey!
123456789Someone over at /r/headphones had mentioned in one of my posts that I should install some addon to EQAPO which would reduce latency by ~10ms or so, and I thought that number was too low to be a concern if I'm being honest, so I wrote it off. However, that got me thinking, I'm actually blind, so I interface with everything with my ears. So in video games, my input lag isn't input lag in the same way it is for you guys, it's based on how much latency there is in my audio chain. With this in mind, i sit possible I might benefit from not using software EQ solutions like those on Windows such as EQAPO or Peace?
I just used the configurator to temporarily remove EQAPO, and I did notice some difference in my screen reader a tad, but this isn't a blind test, and is full of a lot of subjectivity, so I was curious what the actual science was here. How much input lag does an EQ actually bring to your audio chain?
