First class this afternoon…a little nervous
Post Body

I used to take classes at the gym frequently pre-pandemic. I loved it. I went back a couple times since then but kind of lost my rhythm. I took a new job and I work from home so I no longer drive past the gym after work which used to make it easier to go.

This past year or so I’ve moved mostly to walking for exercise. I also hurt my back in July and have been very careful since that time to not push too hard with a workout.

But I’ve lost my mojo and working out has become infrequent. There’s an ot right around the corner from my house so I’m giving it a try this afternoon. I know I’m not going to push too hard…don’t want to injure myself again. But I’m excited but also nervous. It seems very high energy and in your face which could be great but also just overwhelming.

Anyway just a vent. If you have any advice for a brand new person (not in good shape…like 50 lbs overweight) would appreciate it.
