Suddenly very few splat points...OTF monitor matches Orange Zones hr...do I need to increase effort?
Post Body

I don't tend to get a ton of splat points, but I usually get at least 12-15. There's been a few days in January where my splats were low (6). On Sunday I got 14, and then yesterday I only got 2. I know there was a fair amount of WR yesterday and not very long push paces, but I even jacked my push pace up and still couldn't seem to get in the orange zone.

Oddly enough, I was using Orange Zones on my Apple Watch and it matched the OTF hr monitor. While I'd love to believe I've had a sudden enormous cardio gain, I'm not sure that's the case. But it's weird since the hr monitors matched each other.

Any thoughts? I had been doing base 4.5, push 5.5, all out 6.5ish. Yesterday I ended up doing 6 for push and 6.5-7.0 for all out and still couldn't seem to get into the orange. I didn't feel like I was dying, but it wasn't cake either.

Thanks for any thoughts! I mentioned it to my Monday coach and she's going to have a look during class on Friday.
