12 min run for distance benchmark
Post Body

It’s almost time for another benchmark! Just wondering what everyone’s strategy is. These benchmarks are like game day for me. I did the 1 mile benchmark in 6:10 with the strategy, start really fast, go fast in the middle and end really fast. I know the 12 mins is a completely different beast. Definitely would not be able to hold that kind of pace for 12 straight. Do I start fast and slowly drop my speed as I start to fatigue or start slower and keep cranking it up till the end. I would love to hear everyone’s thoughts on this.
