Post Body

It's us, the mod team again. We wanted to take a second to drop in and thank the community for their patience as we adjusted how we as a team tackled some of the major problems in the sub.

One of the ways we had been fighting the spammers was going through and disallowing posts that had a location outside of the county with which the community was targeted for. I.E. if you put in #Orange in the r/losangelespersonals, then it would be removed for being outside of the subreddit's geographical area.

Since making the adjustments, however, we've had a handful of users complain to us that we did not have this rule posted anywhere and did not enforce it universally among users.

Before we try to automod our way out of this, I wanted to take the three communities' pulses that this would affect, r/orangecountypersonals, r/inlandempirepersonals, and r/losangelespersonals. How much do you, as a community, care if users post outside of the area of the community? Please weigh in down in the comments if you feel like your answer needs elaboration.

We will keep the poll open for one week.
