I recently celebrated a birthday (a big one) and, naturally, it got me thinking about what I want. Aside from all of the unobtainable fantasies (e.g. a beach house, a new Mercedes, less stress and more free time, et.), the idea of meeting a fun, down-to-earth couple who would like to have me join them from time to time keeps popping-up in my fantasies. Since I'm not getting any younger and I have a wonderful husband who encourages me to explore my desires, I figured that I would give it a shot.

While I do have my fair share of experience with these kinds of adventures, it has been a few years. In the past, I've been with other women (which is always fun, but they can be a bit flighty), I've been with single men (who I find can be a bit aggressive and clingy at times, and who also have a tendency to overpromise and underdeliver in many instances), I've been in foursomes with my husband and another couple (which I have found to be particularly challenging when it comes to making everyone feel like they are getting the attention that they would like), and I have been in threesomes, both where a single man or woman has joined my husband and I (this has been good fun every time) and also where I have joined another couple (which is so much fun for me because "unicorns" are so rare for couple to find and they really appreciate me, but also because its like an all-you-can-eat buffet that has a little bit of everything that I like!) That being said, joining another couple hasn't exactly been without its challenges, either. For example, I was with a couple where we did everything together the first few times that we met, but when I said out loud (to both of them) how much I enjoyed being with them and I started to list all of the things that turned me on about her and the things that turned me on about him, she felt threatened (which is ridiculous because she was younger, more beautiful, and had the most gorgeous body that I simply couldn't compete with) and decided that moving forward he was off limits to me and only she and I could play together (which completes defeats the purpose of going to an all-you-can-eat buffet!)

So, it is important to me that the couple who shows interest in this kind of friendship with me must have a solid foundation of trust, intimacy, and communication with one another so that they will not be threatened by me really enjoying myself with either you. I promise that I am only lookin to have some fun before my time is through and I assure you that I have the most wonderful husband and an immensely satisfying life that I wouldn't want to trade for anything. Ideally, I would be able to meet alone with the woman on occasion, and alone with the man on other occasions, and together with the three of us on most occasions. I have a busy life between running my own business, being a wife and a mother to 2 teenagers, and keeping up with the shopping, the cooking, the cleaning, and all of the other stuff...when I do get the rare day or night free from my family, its tempting to curl up in the comfort of my own bed with myself and just relax. So, if I'm going to get out of my comfort zone to join a couple for some sexy fun time, the last thing that I want is a bunch of jealousy and insecurity and rules and restrictions that make me feel like third wheel :(

Now, I am a 50-year-old woman, so I want to set the right expectations. I know that I'm not perfect (newsflash - I had flaws even when I was in my prime), but I do try to stay reasonably fit. That said, I have my fair share of wrinkles and what I would call a "mombod," so I'd love to find people who don't have unrealistic expectations and who will find me attractive for what I am (rather than fault me for what I am not) and make me feel desired.
