I have a friend who was injured in an automobile accident last week when he suffered a seizure. He was on the job as a service tech for a major corporation. The accident happened on the 55 freeway and involved five vehicles.
The company's H.R. department is telling him that he's not eligible to file a workman's compensation disability claim. This doesn't sound reasonable. I told him that he needed to get an attorney.
Any suggestions would be appreciated especially from anyone that was involved in a similar situation.
