Hi! I just had an appointment with an opthamologist to get both my glasses and contact lens prescription. My glasses prescription is D: sph -2.75 cyl -0.75 x 175° S: sph -2 75 cyl -0.75 x 5°
And my contact lense prescription is sph -3.00 with no cylinder for both eyes.
This is my first time getting a contact lens prescription. Is it normal to have your sph lens prescription higher than your glasses? I acknowledge it might be to accomodate my astigmatism but i thought sph power for lens is stronger than sph power for glasses, so wouldn't sph -2.75 with no cyl for both glasses enough?
Edit: sorry i meant "so wouldn't sph -2.75 with no cyl for both eyes enough?"
