So I went and got an updated prescription today, and this is my first time getting glasses all by myself and picking everything. Lol
The website associated with my insurance provider offers 3 different materials for their lenses with their frames. Polycarbonate, Trivex, & High Index 1.67. These would be for regular eyeglasses, however I will be looking into prescription sunglasses through the same site. (No pun intended) So any advice as to which material would best fit my prescription as well as be the most comfortable to wear would be greatly appreciated!
My prescription: OD | Sphere: -1.50 | Cylinder: 4.50 | Axis: 115 OS | Sphere: -1.25 | Cylinder: 5.00 | Axis: 67
PS Any tips on how to get the most accurate measurements for lens, bridge, and temple widths/lengths would be appreciated too!
Thanks
