Are Trivex lenses more lightweight than 1.74 high index lenses?

My eye power is -8.5.
I wear glasses with 1.74 lenses, but they feel heavy on my nose, even though the frame is thin and made of a very light material.
So, I was wondering if I changed to Trivex lenses, they would feel lighter than the 1.74 ones.
I don't mind if the lenses become too thick. I only wear glasses at home. I just want the most lightweight lenses possible.
What do you guys think?
