Contacts too strong and causing a magnifying issue?
Post Body

So I got my last pair of glasses back in 2/2018 because my current RX was about to expire. Those are -1.5 and still work perfectly fine to this day. Fast forward to 2/2019 and I did an online eye test because I needed a new contacts RX, I really don't recall why I didn't go to an actual place. New contacts RX was -1.75, which I thought was fine cause the -1.5 ones felt like they were getting weaker and every time I've got a new RX it has changed by -.25. So I finally went and got my first in person eye exam in at least 3-4 years yesterday from a place I've never been before. The doctor mentioned something about my contacts causing a magnifying issue and that's why they weren't as sharp. I saw him notate something about a .25 retraction but couldn't tell if it was or - but my new RX from him was -1.75 for both glasses and contacts. Did he mean to bring me down to -1.5? If so would -1.75 be to strong for glasses?
