I have been doing 7-14 dte trades because a s a newbie, I wanted to see the results of the trades pretty quickly. However despite having some good trades, I'm down about 12% since December doing 1-3 trades a week.. which for a newb isn't really bad, but it's still a loss and a 12.5% loss requires a 14.2% gain to get back to where I started (because math can be harsh).
Tasty Li9ve keeps talking about 45 DTE trades and just recently showed how they completely beat 0 dte trades in terms of profit and volatility of gains. So I think maybe I should start looking at that and just have more patience.
What informed opinions do people have on the subject, what dte do you usually trade and how are you doing ?
