Fan for opnsense box

What's the best silent, cheap solution for my chinesium box which runs a touch warm? Can I get something like a super cheap fan speed controller and attach it to a 120-140mm case fan? I would preferably like to hear it as little as possible, as it's near my TV (apartment living, don't really have a good dedicated 'server' area).
