I have been a regular opioids user for going on 10 years. I have spent hundred of thousands of dollars on pills.
But I just got a second shot at life. I have been interviewing and just got an offer that will change my life. Six figure base salary with commissions and other bonuses. Monday was my last hit of 2 40mg pandas. I have some subs but waiting until the bad withdrawals happen. I need to remember how bad the WDs so fully take advantage of the second chance at life I have been given.
I am just worrying about everything in 24 hour increments right now. Feel if I make it Thursday at 8pm before any subs the worst will be behind me.
I know the high is amazing but after a while you are just chasing to not get sick. The high isn’t the same. I wish I never was introduced to opioids, but I was and I loved them. But a decade later and so much of my life wasted, I truly appreciate the second chance.
I hope you all find your second chances. Work hard to get them and take advantage once you are presented with them.
