So last week I almost overdosed in my bedroom
Post Body

I've been doing a methadone treatment along with psychiatric supervision, but last week I fucked up - badly. I'm currently taking just a pill of 10mg methadone a day and that helps me a lot, but my psychiatrist has the intention of taking me off the drug (and so do I), but last week I had some money and I called up a pharmacist I know who sells a box of 30mg morphine and I bought it. I don't know if methadone lowers our tolerance or not, but I took 300mg of morphine and soon started nodding, but the difference is that I got VERY sleepy, and that usually doesn't happen with me when I'm on opioids. I had also taken 4mg earlier, so that could be it. I thought that if I had gone to sleep I wouldn't wake up, so I dragged myself to my medicine cabinet and found some naltrexone pills (I know how strong they are so I just bit less than half of it) and then woke up on the other day, alive but with a major headache (which I promptly decided to take 3 more morphine pills for it). I don't know if I'm completely ready to let go off morphine right now. Honestly. I lost so much weight since I started taking them (around 40lbs), so I was fat but I'm not anymore. When withdrawal starts, it's hell on earth, I know it, and I know that if I told that to my psychiatrist he would suspend my methadone prescription immediately. I'm also addicted to cocaine, but when I'm on opioids the last thing I think about is blow. So idk. Could I have had an overdose if I didn't have the naloxone pills?
