Is my Mom going through opiate withdrawals?
Post Body

hey guys so ive never done opiates but when i was a kid my mom got addicted to oxycontin that was prescribed to her after the c section she had to have me but unfortunately she got addicted and started buying from the street so when i was really young i remember her being in the hospital for a bit

but for over 10 years now shes been on suboxone and stuff like shes still taking that from the clinic i guess to help her with all that

anyways we have been going through tough times and she wakes me up this morning shouting for my name she was in bed like sweaty and shaking a bit and seemed like she was in a lot of pain and she was begging for me to roll her a joint (were in canada im 18 and she knows i smoke weed) but i kept asking her whats going on like it scared me to be woken up like that and she didnt seem okay at all but she kept dodging the questions saying like "im just sick im just sick" or "nothing i have a headache" while sort of like panicking at me to roll her a joint so i did then she needed water and then i needed to get her the bucket she was throwing up in from the bathroom and she threw up again and she has been throwing up all day

idk guys im worried just with her symptoms and behaviour and history i feel like it somehow might be related to opiates / suboxone

does anyone have some insight?

Comments

No one here can answer this obviously. She might just have the flu, or she might not. Just try having a heart to heart chat with her.
