AntiMalware is detecting a harmful Opera file
Post Body

Every few days, my Zemana AntiMalware detector advises me that it has blocked a harmful Opera file. It automatically quarantines the file. I have been going into Windows File Explorer and deleting two related folders but they keep returning. I believe these files are causing Opera to try to re-install itself. (I use Opera everyday and it is working fine) Zemana identifies the file as "C:\users\[UserName]\.opera\installer.exe". (Notice the period before "opera") Also, in my downloads folder at "C:\users\[UserName]\downloads", a folder named ".opera" keeps coming back after I delete it. This folder is also empty and does not have any hidden files in it. What I find interesting is that I can find these two empty folders named ".opera" and they are both empty; but I cannot find an executable file named ".opera\installer.exe" anywhere on my computer. Zemana calls the file "a high value Trojan." I'm using Windows 10 on a Lenovo Carbon X1 ThinkPad. Thanks for your comments, suggestions and advice.
