Would an opera with just piano work?
Post Body
So I'm writing my piano score, already written the vocal score, and I did arrange some orchestral stuff but the more I write the piano score the more I think I just want it to be piano.
A big theme is fairytales/folk songs and the music box sound and another theme is minimalism and I feel it comes across really well with piano. I mean maybe some Glockenspiel, Tubular bells and some Timpani would be added for various bits but no big rousing orchestral stuff. Funnily enough Wagner is a big influence.
