So I used to play the life out of Transport Tycoon back in the fay when it first came out. Have dabbled in open TTF but not gone at it yet.

So I'm looking for recommendations. I like beyond the standard game, so some grfs. But not so many it blows your mind. Some of the industry sets are just too big and I can't read them on the map! Want to start 512 x 512....maybe 1048.....don't want to become overwhelmed.

Which is my second issue....I can have massive text on the map and everything else looks horrendous....or I can't read the map! PC player here btw.
