You know how every Linux Distro has a package manager, and every package manager has several GUI "software centers" that allow you to utilize that package manager without having to use the console? No? Well I consider Linux package management one of the system's great advantages over Windows. If it was up to me I would never have to find, download and run an installer .exe ever again.
What I'm looking for is kinda like Microsoft Store if Microsoft Store wasn't useless garbage. I only use Windows for gaming and media.
Of course I'm mainly interested in apps that use FOSS package repositories, but I'm not totally opposed to also including some non-commercial freeware like for example Foobar2000.
The Software center itself should of course ideally be FOSS.
Not been very successful with googling so far.
Edit: It seems I finally found a good search string.
