The odd situation with my library

I have an open-source project, Ubiety.Dns.Core, I forked from another DNS library and have updated and added functionality to. It seems to be well used and as I recently learned included in Oracle's MySql.Data library package. My library is not included as a dependency, it is included in their package as an additional file. Is there anything I can do to ask them to use it as a dependency instead?
