vCenter Root CA, post install?

Hey everyone, I've had a cluster up in vcenter for a while now. Due to internal IT policies I had to do a manual install on everything and couldn't use the installer. I'm working on getting storage/vsphere integration set up and I'm running into this error:

VMwareVSphereControllerUpgradeable: Failed to connect to vSphere: Post "myvcenter.site.stuff/sdk": x509: certificate signed by unknown authority

I've searched google, chatGPT, stackoverflow, and the openshift docs and I can't find a solution for adding my vCenters Root CA post install. Any advice on how I should proceed?
