Im new to ENM (ethical non-monogamy), polyamory, solo-poly, and open relationships—essentially, I’m transitioning away from monogamy. I’ve been putting in the effort to learn what to expect and how to manage my emotions through this process. Initially, I thought it would be best to explore this with people who have experience in non-monogamous relationships. However, after reading through various Reddit posts, it seems that many experienced people aren’t interested in dating newcomers. At the same time, I’m hesitant to try this with someone who is also inexperienced. I want to approach this in the best way possible (knowing that nothing will be perfect), but now I’m wondering if seeking out experienced partners is really the best approach. Any advice would be appreciated
