Land purchasing issue

I'm trying to do Dinky park which is a small park that requires you buy land to expand a fairly small park, when I open the land purchase it works at first, then when i switch to buying construction rights, and back to full land rights the little signs disappear and i can't buy anything.
EDIT: Turns out I was a few updates behind, I picked up openRCT some time ago I didn't realize it was still receiving significant development, updating fixed the issue.
