Hello, noob here with a curiousity:
So I'm familiar with template matching and a few other OpenCV basics, but I'm just getting started, so please bear with me.
In the case of a pick and place machine, for example, the CAM outputs provide the coordinates for a given part. What if one wanted to use CV to "look" at the PC board then transfer those coordinates to the CNC to place the part instead?
Or maybe the Z axis is tapping a tablet based on finding icons with template matching, whatever, how can I learn more about matching/syncing/converting these coordinates and sending them from OpenCV to the CNC?
I'll do my homework, I just haven't been able to locate any good information on the topic, perhaps because I'm not searching for the right things.
Anyone out there give me a boost?
