Hi guys,
I am using Leap 15.4 here and every time when I put the laptop to sleep and wake him up, the internet connection does not work.
So, yes wifi is up and running but I cannot access any websites. I am using (Nord)VPN by the way and I am convinced that this might be the problem here. I activated the kill switch option so that no program (Firefox) is able to access the Internet as long as a connection to a VPN server is established.
The things I tried so far:
- changing my network does not work - I have two WLANS at home
- switching on/off my network card does not work
- logging out and in again does not change anything
Unfortunately, I need to restart the machine to get my network to work again. I also tried to manually to connect to my VPN service provider via terminal (nordvpn connect xyz), but it hangs. Same result when I use the command "nordvpn status", even that won't work after waking up the laptop (T470).
And yes, I have not tried to switch off the killswitch and see if I am getting a different result. Maybe I am stubborn and just want this to work ... ^^
Maybe restarting the network manager (daemon) via terminal?
