I first noticed the symptoms of covid 19 on august 9. Haven't been to work since. I go my 2 covid shots and then the booster shot months ago.
For 5 or so days I had bad symptoms, including a fever. Took an at home test around Aug 11 and it came back positive.
It's been 10 days since symptoms started and they're essentially gone (still have a bit of a tickle in my throat). On Aug 18, I tested positive again, but the impression I get from this page is that it's okay to go back to work. Is that right?
If you have these symptoms, you should isolate:
for at least five days if you are:
- fully vaccinated
...
If you reach the end of your isolation period and have a fever or other symptoms, you must continue to isolate until your symptoms have improved for at least 24 hours (or 48 hours if the symptoms affect the digestive system) and you have no fever.
This section makes me think its okay for me to start work, but no where on the page seems to explicitly address what to do if you still test positive for covid.
I figure its because the province, and most people, want to move past covid, and so they're more laissez faire about people going out and about even if they're positive than they would be before the vaccines became widespread and during the height of the pandemic. Thoughts?
