I must admit I do not live in Ontario but I know because of Ontario's laws they allow sports gambling advertisements on TV programming originating in Ontario. Therefore, all of Canada that watches Sportsnet and TSN sports broadcasts or streams see all the sports gambling ads as well because the company is based in Ontario. Let's get this out of the way, those gambling ads are relentless and are almost part of every single commercial break and just plastered over arena ads themselves. It's god damn annoying hearing the same damn commercial about 25 times a broadcast (probably not an exaggeration).
I understand how the ads become part of broadcasts and streams now (money), but I don't understand how all our governments will just allow so much gambling advertising when there are people that struggle with gambling addictions. Come on Rogers be better than that, it's beyond annoying!
