I know some people promote fully safe for work and some promote mostly explicit, and some of us want a mix of the two.
While it may seem like a no brainer to have the same handle across all platforms, it can actually cause problems especially with SFW apps like TikTok. Anyone who's on TikTok can vouch that when you start taking off, people will start asking for your reddit/Twitter because they know they may be able to find freebies there.
TikTok has the option to filter comments, so I suggest always filtering "reddit" and "Twitter", but if you have unique usernames for your Twitter and Reddit, you can also filter those so that people who've seen your content on other platforms can't comment your accounts and direct viewers to your free promo instead of paid sites. And if these are different than your instagram, you can still plug that in the comments. That way, people who see you on TikTok and want to see more have to go to your sites instead of being able to easily find your explicit content on socials.
Basically it gives you a little bit more control over your content and its reach.
