I am so sick of the stigma against OF creators/sex workers

Sorry in advance if this is not the right place for this, but I'm getting heated lol.

Before I started doing OF, I knew it was hard work, but now having experienced it myself, my respect for OF creators has SKYROCKETED. The amount of time and energy that goes into creating content and interacting with followers is insane. OF creators are some of the most dedicated, hardworking, patient, and stern people due the work they have to do. Posting and promoting and interacting with followers EVERY single day is not easy. And yet, it's seen as a bad thing to outsiders. Mention you have an OF and people judge you and shame you. Yes we're selling our bodies, but why is that a bad thing? Why is it so bad that women (and men) are comfortable with their sexuality and confident in how they look enough to sell it? Sex workers and OF creators deal with the BOTTOM OF THE BARREL shitbags sometimes and yet we remain professional and upbeat, how is this not seen as a good thing??? How are people not praising sex workers and OF creators everywhere??? Because people hate it when a woman is confident in herself and her sexuality, and we don't devote ourselves to one person. How dare we!!

And what gets me the most is that people who hire sex workers or pay for OF subs are not treated with the same disdain that actual sex workers and creators are faced with (just look at the US government for proof of that). There is a bit of shame that goes with it, but NOT to the extent of actual sex workers and creators. They rarely, if ever, lose their jobs because they look at and/or pay for porn and/or sex. I'm not saying they should because come on, we all get horny. But why is it that when a woman wants to get her bag by using what she has, she's seen as a whore and not worth a relationship/job opportunity/etc., but there are people who spend hours looking at their content and they get off scott-free? Again, I'm not saying people who look at porn or sub to OF creators should be looked down upon. Quite the contrary, I think it should be more accepted! Sexuality is a beautiful thing. I'm just peeved that us creators put so much time and effort and energy into our work but because it's sexual and we get money from it, it's so looked down upon. There's so much stigma against sex work and pornography, but it's just people loving themselves and how they look and getting their bag from the demand that is already there.

Taking nudes and lewd pics/vids has made my self-esteem soar because I see the pics and I'm like, "Damn, that's MY body! And I look HOT". But to outsiders, being confident in ourselves is seen as "vain" and "self-absorbed". Especially if you're a woman. I'm so sick of it.

I know this is a naive take on the world, and I think there is change happening and sex work/OF is becoming more normalized and accepted. I just think OF creators and sex workers are amazing, hardworking, and devoted people who should be praised, not shamed.

When I started OF, I looked at pictures and videos of myself and didn't recognize that woman. She was sexy, beautiful, goregous, and an alien I didn't recognize. That couldn't have been me? 2 months and a breakup later, I'm staring at these beautiful images of my body, actually knowing how it looks and feels. Recognizing that gorgeous creature is me.
