Decided to start OF recently as I’m in a niche and I didn’t want to die wondering. Decided to make a twitter account recently and yesterday after posting a pic I got a message about paying for a twitter shoutout from an account with 30k followers. The money they’re asking for isn’t much, but after not responding for 10 minutes another message was sent offering me a special discounted price. This kind of makes them look a bit desperate to me, and there’s every chance those 30k followers are bots. At this point I’m not going to engage but I’m hoping someone who has done it could tell me if it worked out or if I would do well to steer clear.
