Are hashtags really killing my engagement numbers?!
Post Body

Well hey hi and hello you wonderful people! New to the game here and been doing a little snooping around when I discovered a couple people talking about hashtags on that app owned by Trumps new male wife, Elon Musk's X the Everything shithole. I am trying my hand at doing soft dom content with niches like irl and vr content, furry content, feet stuff including micro and macro, Dom/sub stuff, findom, cashcow and the like, and have added hashtags to indicate as such on my posts. It wasn't until I literally noticed the difference that I may be shooting myself in the foot. Posts with pictures, but hashtags (so any content or teasers I make) get 20-40 views at most, and no engagement. No likes, no retweets, nothing. A post which was purely text, no hashtags, a rant about the amount of American politics I was seeing on my feed which I was having to block? 300 views, and actually got likes. Are hashtags really causing me to be seen as less desirable by the algorithm and getting me shafowbanned to a degree? Thanks in advance for any advice!
