Sending PPV in messages

A sub requested that I send a video as PPV so it shows up in his purchased feed. When I add it to a message and it’s under the “Price to view” side, it shows up in the message thread as viewable and the video plays. Is that just on my end?? Is it locked on their end but not mine?
