Are there more strategies to limit moderately rude subs who also slightly insult other than restriction?

From my understanding, it is best to restrict subscribers who are behaving badly because creators will still get the money for the subscription with a restriction versus a block.

Would there be any other actions best taken to ensure rudeness is avoided and money is still paid out to the creator.

My understanding is restriction does not allow the subscriber to interact or send messages with the creator. Confirmation would great if you know.
