How should I be responding to Reddit requests messages?

The platform I’m actually trying to grow the most in terms of skill is Reddit and I have marathons to go in terms of knowledge. I’m finally karma farming again and getting message requests from other users that I’m just for the most part flat out ignoring rn. How can I help use this momentum to get more subscribers especially since I’m a free account?
