So i only recently learned that when you use the same wifi as anyone, you’ll show up in their “people you may know” on instagram. I’m trying to start over so that doesn’t happen.

I have a 2nd (old) iphone that i’ve wiped everything from. However, now i’m running into the issue of having to redownload the social media apps to the phone which you need an apple id for. I’d ofc rather not input my personal apple id but if you try to make a new one, you need a phone number. How do you do this? Do you just use a prepaid phone plan to get a diff number and make a new apple id so you can download the apps?

For the wifi portion, i have regular wifi and then an extended wifi which is technically its own network. If i disconnect all my current devices from the extended network and only use that one for the 2nd promo phone, would that work?

Just trying to make start over on IG the right way.
