Woke up to someone making a post on another subreddit with my pictures warning others I am a scammer. They have also included a name they believe to be mine but is not.

To be clear, this person appears to have been catfished/scammed by someone who used my pictures. However they do not seem to realise this and believe I have personally scammed them into spending thousands of dollars.

Ideally, I need the post and pictures removed asap because it is damaging and defamatory.

So far, I have:

• Directly DM’d the Redditor who has been catfished offering to verify and prove it is not me in the hopes they will remove their post. I have also offered to help report any accounts that posed as me.

• Messaged the moderators of the subreddit explaining the situation and asking the post to be removed.

• Commented on the post explaining the situation.

What else should I do? I woke up in a total panic.
