Hi! I have looked through existing posts related to fundraising and it looks like most people use the fundraiser feature for personal needs. I would like to fundraise for a friend of mine in Gaza who would like to buy water and bread for as many people as possible in his refugee camp. I’m wondering if anyone out there has experience using OF to fundraise for current issues and social justice causes. Id like to fundraise at least $500, but would really like to raise as much as I possibly can but I currently only have like 165 subs on my free page. I’m thinking about making one specific fundraising post, and promoting it as widely as possible in both NSFW subreddits and subreddits related to Palestine and Gaza fundraising (in said subreddits I would obv post SFW photos). Is this a good idea or will I just get banned? How do you recommend finding horny people interested in a specific issue? I haven’t been able to find any subreddits specifically for OF fundraising, so any suggestions on where to post to maximize the reach of a fundraiser would be greatly appreciated. Please share any tips you have for effectively fundraising on OF!
