GST/HST taxes Canadians

So basically I’m Canadien and I crossed the 30k income from OF as a self employed and after 30k you are obligated to add GST/HST taxes on top of your service / product you sell. Does anyone in Canada knows how does it works ? Like does the OF collect and pay GST for you directly or they collect and send you and you pay it to the Government or how does it work could someone give more information or dm me pls .

I sent an email to the OF support but based on previous experience I don’t think I’ll get a lot useful info from them
