I’ve seen a lot of advice geared towards promotions on social media sites like Instagram especially, and this may be a dumb question that I just haven’t figure out, but how do you create an Instagram account that is not tied to your main? Maybe things have changed but I remember in the past when you created an alt it would link them and send out a “person you may know” notification to your phone contacts and you would show up in the suggested friends list for people linked to your main account. I would love to create a totally private ig that I can promote from but i definitely do not what any of my irl contacts to see a link between accounts. Can anyone give me some tips on this!
