I've been doing this since 2020, always focusing slightly more on my civ job. So I was fine making my little $500-$1300 a month half assing promo. But obviously I'm getting older and my day job is getting tougher on my body and I wanted to put more into of. So I buckled down and got serious about insta and my niche and was able to make $2500 in May and then a few hundred on my other sites too. I was so proud and felt like I've really got things going. This is while still working part time at my other job, and im finally able to do that and not be full time!! I was so happy. I had a few reels go viral and was getting 20-30 subs a day! June and July were decent, earning at least 2k both months. So far this month I've not even made 500. I used to let this make me feel like shit and it was part of the reason I never pushed more. I was sooo close to the top 4% but now I'm back in the top 6. I'm not going to mope, I'm posting more to my clip sites and trying to do better promo in general. I know everyone's getting ready to get their kids to go back to school etc but damn lol buy my corn still 😂😂 idk this was mostly just a vent post but long story short sometimes you just have bad months and I'm sure the best is yet to come but don't let those bad parts make you feel like you're never going to do better.

Insta has been getting more and more strict over the silliest of things, I was averaging 50k to 1m views 3m being my highest last two months out of nowhere got flagged for my bio which had always been the same dropped me to pushing for 10k a day on a reel with no new interactions and having to keep putting out 3-5 a day to gain followers the past 2 weeks 😣 but ya gotta keep pushing!

Last month was horrible for me. I’m seeing more traction this month. Like someone else mentioned consistency is key. I still posted like a mad woman last month even I barely got anything; and finally a post went viral a week ago so that is giving me decent traction. It will happen eventually don’t give up 🖤
