Set design essentials

So I'm shooting my content in my apartment, and I want to have a cool set design which I can put up and down easily.
Right now I'm using some wall tapestries and light sources here and there, but that won't work with every video I do. Also I want to get some variety in there.
What do you guys use ? Any tip ?
