what’s your conversion rate using a post scheduling app
Post Body

i’m trying to decide if the monthly fee is worth it for a scheduling app like postpone or post daddy. Right now posting on Reddit is really manual and time-consuming. but I would need to gain at minimum 3 subs per month for the investment to be worthwhile. So I’d like to know how it’s converting for all of you.

maybe I need to strategize better. I have so many subs that I joined but i can’t remember which ones I can post in without verification or high karma. I also have trouble remembering which photos I’ve used in that day. It just feels messy, and a lot of my brain capacity is taken up by it. Maybe you know a better way?

got it. I’ll wait to hear from others who are successful and ask how they avoid the bans. thanks!

i guess i need tips on how to be more efficient bc I’m not figuring it out on my own… and i want to do more than I’m doing now. i also want to maximize on the analytics for the best times to post, which if i was to do manually i would never be able to leave my computer lol. a scheduler would help me.

so to follow up, do you have any guidance on how I can be more efficient with posting here? I see you interacting a lot on this sub and I know you’re often reminding people how much hard work this is. This post isn’t a complaint about that, it’s simply a question of “how can I be better?” i would love to hear a helpful strategy from someone as successful as yourself

i averaged 4.5 subs per month over the last 3 months. started from 0. and my promo is only on Reddit for now.

you’re challenging me about quality, but if you don’t have specific examples, then I’m not gna learn how to improve.

but i would argue that my biggest challenge is quantity. which brings me back to the point of my post - i am ready to scale, and i would like to do so efficiently, by either leaning on a software or hearing from creators on how they are doing it.

exactly, that was my point above. i just can’t believe for the rate that some of these accounts post that they wouldn’t be using an app. or mb they are able to afford a social media intern, but i sure af can’t haha

you inspired me to clean mine up!

I’m just not sure how to be more efficient with posting at the best time for each sub. do you have any strategy recommendations for that? i could put it in my calendar, but then i’d have to make sure I’m at a computer or have my phone on me to post at the right time. that seems fatiguing. i still would prefer to schedule these posts instead.

so if I use different pictures in one day, and create different titles, I should be OK using the scheduling app? and mb scattering them over the course of a couple hours in a day?

I see so many established creators getting thousands of karma points for doing exactly this. I can’t imagine that they sit on Reddit all day long just to post. they have to be using some sort of automated software, don’t you think?

i would love to see that creator and ask them directly what they did different from me. but i still believe it comes down to quantity. i struggled a lot with finding subs that would allow me to post or to even get verified since i was so new. i got fatigued and discouraged. then i found some and have since been struggling to get in a good swing. i am too sporadic when i post. i want more structure/organization/efficiency. again, why i believe leaning on a scheduler would be a solution. I’m a process improvement PM in my vanilla career so i notice where processes can be streamlined and this is one of those areas.

this isn’t a plea for help. I’m able to reflect and take guidance and reevaluate on my own. that is why I’m fairly certain my challenge is quantity, not quality.

okay, can you reference which you think are poor quality?

can you define what would be considered spam for me? I still have yet to understand how this behavior is labeled/identified. or is it subjective, based on the moderators opinions?
