Thoughts on adding a ppv video to welcome message?

In my welcome message I currently have my tip menu and a free 7 minutes vid. I'm considering making a bundle of 2 or 3 videos and a 30 sec preview clip of all of them and adding it to the welcome message for like 40% off or something, maybe 10-15$ total, making it clear that it's an amazing deal? I don't want to come across too pushy or salesy though.
Does anyone do it? What's your unlock rate like?
