Hi! I am rather new myself too, I started around 6 months ago. I see many similiar questions here daily and I wanted to give some advices. And yes, I can't say I know it all, but at least some of these things are freshly in memory.. I think many of you might be a bit younger than me, so think it as a big sister giving you some tips βΊοΈ (and disclaimer: this isn't my native language so excuse me for some grammatical mistakes I might have made) Hope this helps someone who is about to start or just starting π©·
Before I started I took months just to do research, I wanted to know everything possible before hand. I take some time to also research myself and think if this would be my cup of tea.
Then, even if it is 'just side hustle', think it as a any other business there is. You are selling something to somebody. I have been working in a field of marketing so it was quite clear to me, it is must to create a strategy, vision and a mission. I asked myself WHAT do I want to do, to WHOM I want to do it, WHY I want to do it and HOW and WHEN am I going to do it. I also created a marketing strategy and same questions were asked once again.
Also it was important to me to make myself clear, who I want to be. I end up answer "myself", but writed down some keywords what that actually means for me. It is very much like creating a small brand.
After starting there were obviously some open questions still lingering around, for example, how far are my boundaries? That is a funny thing, because I still don't know, but I know you can always change them. I wasn't comfortable to show my pussy at first, then little by little I noticed I have done it. I didn't even notice, because it started to feel so natural. Now I have even customized some dom stuff, because it started to feel nice and good and comes naturally. I still don't know how far my boundaries will be in another 6 months, but they have changed a lot during last 6. What I mean is, you know if you are ok with something. You can always change your boundaries, but it has to come from you, not from others. If something feels bad - say no. If something feels fun and interesting - say yes. No money is enough if you have to push yourself or loose your mental health. You are important and it is your business, not theirs π©·
One thing I have been thanked is that I do everything my way and it stands out. The reason is I didn't watch porn or what other creators did before starting. I created my own rules and now I have freedom creating without having some ready made patterns in my head. And of course, I don't mean to say don't research or get ideas, but I mean don't abandon some of your own ideas just because there isn't something like that already done. There is nothing you can't do (as long as its legal and ok with TOS), but you may get the point.
And last but not least, if you are still reading, HAVE FUN, be creative and playful. It is not that serious - subs may go but the truth is they will also come. Keep your heads high girls!β€οΈ
