Question about queuing messages

When I schedule for the future and select send to all subs or whatever
Does that list update when I get a new sub? And send to them as well, or would I need to specifically send it off to them if they join before it is meant to be sent out?
Or does it only work for current subs (which would render it useless to schedule out far at all lol
I hope this makes sense!
