Ok, so for those who don't know I've been economically abused for years and I'm starting this job because I need to be financially independent in order to leave my abusive household.
I'm making this post because society makes you think that any form of sex work or creation of erotic content is easier and that doesn't require any type of merit... F**** them, honestly.
I've learned over the months that this takes so much BRAVERY because the world is cruel and once you start doing this most people turn against you for trying to survive or simply for exploring your sexuality and taking money from that.
You have to have a decent amount of self steem in order to 1.- take pictures 2.- edit your pictures 3.- add a freaking watermark on top of it 4.- post your pictures on internet where a bunch of strangers can judge you in any shape of form.
And you know why this takes self steem? Because no matter what they say you gotta keep going.
You have to be disciplined because you need to schedule your posts, be creative about what you're going to write at the botton of said picture/vid, learn the TOS of the platform, adapt yourself to rules of EVERY app that you're using (Reddit, Tiktok, Instagram, Tumblr, Facebook, Telegram, etc) and learn the language of their algorithms. You need to be careful about the angle of the camera, the pose, the outfit, keep your privacy. You have to avoid trolls, avoid violent men, be nice with the subs and answer their messages, questions, compliments. Overcome the obstacles of the platform itself when there's a bug, a technical problem, the times when you E-mail them and they don't respond so now you have to figure out and solve the problem by yourself.
This is not for the faint of heart and every person that underestimates what where doing doesn't have any idea of what it's like to be one of us.
We're freaking amazing and we deserve so much respect for what we're doing regardless of our reasons and goals and I'm pretty glad that subs like this exists so we can share our experiences
"You're making more money than me JUST by showing your pussy? That's too risky and slutty, I could never. Don't call me crying when you realize you've thrown your worth as a woman" -
- Three months later she tries to make an OnlyFans, receives as much hate as she's spread, realizes is fucking hard, fails and quits.
I have many friends sharing themselves on twitter or reddit for fun, and they're fucking tired because they get hate too. In the end I made an OnlyFans because publishing for free in reddit is a landmine - some mods directly harrass you, people leave nasty and hateful comments anyway even WITHOUT OnlyFans.
Hate towards women, regardless of what they do, is terribly accepted as "that's life". So why not get paid for it.
